Barbie first appeared in the U.S. market back in 1959, based on a popular (and trampy) German doll named Bild Lilli. Since her first incarnation her mold, style, and eventually desire to conquer every career known to man has evolved to fit the times. Even becoming a fairy tale princess, superhero, and mermaid on occasion! We have a ton of her coloring books from the beginning through recent years, and I’ve had a pending folder of almost-done remastered books I’ve been wanting to finish and upload for a while now. And oddly coincidental, they are finally done during the time the Barbie movie has hit the theaters. Obviously they are not all of the books we have on her, but they give a good representation of her metamorphism and will be joining other books we already have posted on the site, so they will add a much needed expansion to the series.
